Placeholders

I can get to all of the asmx pages but anytime I go to any links under these pages I have lots of SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2, HTTP GET, HTTP POST, etc. errors saying that "The placeholders shown need to be replaced with actual values."

Any ideas on what I did wrong?

This information isn't really an error. It's the webs service definition for the different ways a web service call can be executed. At the top of the page you typically have a "Test" section with a couple of textboxes. Just fill in the required values and click on "Invoke". This way you can test the individual web service functions. MDT is able to call web services out of the box and will also handle the parameter assignment. See some examples at:
